Since the 1960s, Jacob Ebriani’s prolific artistry has been inspired by mystical and “other worldly”, alternate universe subjects and style of painting. If the 5th dimension exists, Jacob has envisioned it in his 3rd eye mind, and captured and expressed it through oil and acrylic on canvas. 60+ years and over 300 paintings, he has traversed surreal and sur-natural subjects, that are known to bring awe and wonder in conversation and introspection.
What is reality and what is surreality? That is the question in Jacob’s paintings. Painting, drawing, and sculpting is a constant journey, molding his dreamscapes and inner workings to reflect his Sufi Persian and universally philosophical and romantic visions, all embodying the hybridized beauty of mother nature, humanity, and the meta. You will see 3 generations (6 decades) of artwork that are uniquely signature, with elements of torn celestial skies, rugged cosmic mountains, and the sensual adorned feminine, showing that nothing is permanent, everything is transcendent, and evolution is constant.
